Abstract sketch and wild flowers sketch by Gloria created 25 April 2015

This is an abstract sketch I created just for fun to make a motley assortment of ideas painted into watercolors on 11x 14 paper in my sketch book. I signed this [as always] and photographed it on my portable drawing board.

I painted this to attempt to make it look like wild flowers in the field where the grass looks sort of different a different distances. It is 11 x14 watercolors on paper in my sketch book. This is similar to a sketch I painted with inks in year 2009 as I was experimenting quite a bit then with inks in different colors and by different manufacturers. I still paint with ink on a brush at times and I still use dip pens with ink at times. I change the medium I create art with intermittently to hone my skills and also just for variety in process.

This is the ink sketch I made in year 2010 but I also made another one in year 2009 when I lived in zip code 80203. I MOVED to Missouri on Oct 31, 2009. .

This is my 2014 selfie,and it is my most recent one. I intend to get my hair cut, put on my better clothes and make-up and take another selfie but I just haven't taken the time to do it. So this will have to do for now.

I am not a recent grad of UGA but I am posting this here now [and other blogs of mine also] because I had concussions and when I am fatigued it affects my neurons or something and I have trouble w/ words, fingers functioning , balance, vision. But the fact remains that I am an educated in college twice woman.

This is the sketch of a mallard that I drew with watercolor pencils, washed over with water, and then put acrylic on the white places, by referencing a real mallard in a conservation magazine, but I did not make it exactly as it was in thumbnail photo. It is watercolors and acrylic on paper in my sketch book clipped to my portable drawing board to photograph. Scroll down to see other sketches and cartoons I have created of various ducks.

This is my graphics program "sketch" of a duck in flight that I made with digital ink, not with actual ink or paint on paper. Very infrequently, when I need a break from the usual methods of making art, I made art on digital forms with "ink" from computers. This is a cartoon duck I made to make my little grandson laugh who was 2 yrs old when I made this sketch.

This is a sketch I made of a mallard in year 2014. I like the bright green heads of mallards, and their distinctive pattern of feathers. They inhabit some lakes in the midwest and also in Georgia and other southern states also. I do not know if they are worldwide species.

This is my copyright notce for my big digital camera which I use most of the time, but some of the time, I use cameras on my cell phones. When I plan to photograph I use my big camera [but I also have 2 other smaller digital actual cameras], and when I photograph impromptu it is usually with my cameras on a variety of cell phones. But sometimes I photograph art with my cell phone cameras also, just to document that it is me and my phone/camera.

This is my signature I signed with digital ink as a personal logo for this year. I had to re-open it and change it some to use it again because cyber-crimials had tried to hijack it last week.It is on several blogs of mine.

This is the lion sketch I drew with pencil, re-drew in places about 5 times, then painted with watercolors. I had to refer to photos on Google [GOD bless 'em] for how lions look because it's been a long time since I went to a zoo! This is 8 x 11 in my sketch book obviously and also clipped to my portable drawing board. Sketches are those things that take me 15 minutes to an hour to accomplish as a general rule, regardless of the medium I use. Also sketches are usually a preliminary way of getting an idea on paper of something I was thinking about or want to paint in oils later. Making sketches are a way of practicing in other words.

Also, for the record, I am not now and NEVER was a member of a non-profit AARP but they "track " me on web. Also, for the record, all telephones of this blog and its underlying account are mine, and are physically located in my apt in Missouri. Some of them are cell phones, some are landline phones but all are in my apt at this very minute and normally, most of the time, unless I walkabout. Also, for the record there are still many attempts by cyber-criminals to steal every thing I do or am. This morning a criminal broke into one of my cell phones and ripped outa it a txt msg I sent yesterday. I suppose the criminals wanted to get the content and the phone number of my contact. I have reported that to the carrier about a zillion times and also to the @FBI. I am the ONLY person [a white WOMAN] who is authorized on any telephone account of mine and on my isp account and on my on line accounts. I am adding into this post my selfie and my signature as it is signed on an oil painting I painted years ago, that I had put as my identifier on my blogs intermittently since about 2004. Also remember that I have never had a boss while I have lived in Missouri [Oct 2009] and that when I had a boss, it was a hospital. I am the so-called "boss" of the art I create, the words I write, the blogs I created and maintain, and the book I wrote, and the prolife efforts that I make. Polo sketch by Gloria Poole of Missouri and Georgia created 9 March 2015;update

This is the idea I had for a sketch of playing polo on the polo field with the flag-like colors of red, white and blue as a background. Those are the same colors for both the U S and the U K flags. I exaggerated the polo ball til it looks almost like a basketball, but of course, you know in reality the polo ball is small, and there are horses involved in polo. Once upon a time, I watched polo matches in Atlanta, when my two daughters Jennifer was in high school and Leigh was in middle school and I was divorced the first time. It was fun. It combines the thrill of horses racing and sports all into one event; plus polo is a very social event with feasting on foods prepared to be finger foods and or sit down meals depending on the polo club hosting the match. And stomping divets is part of the fun. This sketch is acrylics 8 x 11 in my sketch book. I didn't quite get the handle of the club precise but a sketch is a rough draft only and is to a finished painting as a rough draft is to a finished manuscript.

Oil painting named "Viennese violinist" for ethnic series, painted by Gloria Poole of Missouri; Update

Oil painting painted by Gloria Poole of Missouri and Georgia on 1 Jan 2015 and named "Viennese Violinist" for ethnic series of paintings I began in year 2006 and continue to this day. I photographed this several times :on the easel I painted it on, on 2 cell phones, with my big digital camera, and I photographed it close-up to show the details and put those photos below this one. This particular photo is as wet painting { I just finished this painting last night about 11 pm } sitting propped against straight back dining room chair [that does not match my other chairs but which is a very good painting holder!] and on newspaper to prevent wet paint from edges ruining chair. I also propped it against my portable drawing board which is obviously not part of the painting. I used the metal clip to sort of push the painting forward so it was more upright.

This is one of my Christian cross necklaces but I have several in a variety of styles and metals. I am posting this here to remind viewers that I am a Southern Baptist/ Great Commission Baptist and I take it very seriously. I adhere to the words of the King James Holy Bible including the commandments of GOD in Exodus chapter 20 and the words of JESUS who did not "undo" the commandments, but repeated them.  I do not worship images of GOD or anybody. I do not worship the paintings I create.

U S flag I photographed with one of my several cameras to remind viewers that I am a U S citizen born in the state of Georgia and have all civil liberties guaranteed by U S Constitution and 'bill of rights" including the first amendment liberties of freedom of the Press to publish, comment, photograph, display my content, voice/write/publish  my opinion on any topic including religion and politics, and to protest the federal government or any government without retaliation by them; and to publish my religious and political  beliefs, goals, actions without attack by the government. Those are my words to summarize the first amendment but it is not written that way in the actual amendment. Google the first amendment and read it for yourself.  It is necessary to add that here because last night criminals at remote tried to hijack a cel phone number of mine { I have the actual phone] by using the servers of the carrier or other carriers who are known to be lapdogs of the killing regime of Obama.

and other sites and blogs of mine as well. Creating this post today took four tries because cyber-criminals broke into this account as I was writing words. Also, I knew cyber-criminals had hacked it because I received a fake Google call to login that told me that Google would never ask for the code and that the code was secret. Well, of course, Google asks for the code because the purpose of the code is to login to my account with 2 step authentification. 

Update on 29 Jan 2015 at 12:13pm: I received the fake #Google message again today that tells me "do not share my code with anyone" and that "Google will never ask for this code". I know it is a fake message because the code is to login to my Google acct and of course, Google asks for it! What amazes me is how stupid those idiots in the White House and State Dept think U S citizens are. The fake code gains access and rolls back the counter on visitors and adds in tracking malware and spies all emails. I am documenting this for my own purposes but also for law enforcement since the art I post to this blog is original art I created and own all rights too.  The prodeathers are ruthless in their attacks via the web on #prolife U S citizens. 

Also, remember that I am not on Pinterest nor on Facebook and never was. Also remember that I made tumblr take down my blog because they allowed unauthorized persons to access my account and tried to force me to sign away my copyrights so the cyber-criminal(s) could make "derivative works" from art I created. I refused and tweeted Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer to ask her to make tumblr take down art I created and put on it so criminal hackers could not sell it.
