2 sketches made today by me Gloria Poole,RN, artist of /in Missouri

This sketch is one that sort of morphed as I drew it first in graphite then painted it with acrylic and inktense. I was trying to draw a bright orange bowl ! Well. At first, it didn't look a container of any sort so I tried again. I lengthened it [too much] so that it became a vase. I decided to leave it like that and paint it. Also, I was trying to draw as if it were sitting on a pillow. I did not get the perspective correct obviously! This is on 8 x 11 paper that I sized with wheat paste, and I signed it, photographed it and uploaded it. I consider this sketch a failure because it does not look anything like I intended it to look. I couldn't think through how to correct it. I have learned that acknowledging the failed sketches also has me and others to see how I improve over time. Copyrighted.

The second sketch I made today is better. I was drawing from a real piece of fruit. This is a drawing, not a painting because I used drawing chalk to draw it. I drew it, signed it with a pencil and photographed it and uploaded it and posted it to this blog of mine today 30th Dec 2015 at 4:26pm. Copyrighted.

Oil painting lights across spectrum painted by me Gloria Poole Registered Nurse and artist in/of Missouri and Georgia;Update2

Update to this post on 5th Dec, 2015; after tweeting this photo of oil painting I painted on @gloria_poole, AND after tweeting @FBI for help in removing the criminal element from my blogs and computer. I painted this oil on canvas of 18 x 24 inches in size in order to paint with that gorgeous blue color that I like so much and which was often used in medieval times by "old Masters" artists. I study their techniques intermittently and attempt to replicate them. I was trying to paint a light flashing across a spectrum, in a way to retain the blue background as the main color of the canvas. This painting is not like any other I have ever painted before. I have created sketches in abstracts but I have not so far, painted an oil painting in abstract or surreal. I experiment often with different techniques, mediums, brands, surfaces, planes [angles] , genres. I did not draw this first. I just picked up a paint brush and very quickly painted this because the idea flashed into my head. I signed it, photographed it, uploaded it, and posted it today, because I tried to post this same photo to this same blog on 2nd of Dec, and was blocked from doing so by ILLEGAL censors, who had hacked my computer on day after Thanksgiving day. I am grateful to @Google and @FBI for helping resolve the problems and also the manufacturer of my computer(s). If I include too many details, it might "empower" criminal hackers again. Also, I photographed this on the easel I use primarily for painting oils on canvas with which is in a different part of my apt than where I normally photograph art I made. Also, the signature you see above on this blog was created by me with a graphics software program and not with a brush. I usually try to make each blog and site unique in some way. I sign the art I create normally with a brush or a pen/dip pen/ pencil/chalk/ pastel/ charcoal --whatever I was using to create that particular piece of art.

I intended to add my photo of my painting I painted yesterday but there is some sort of trick trying to prevent uploads from my same computer that was hacked on Thanksgiving day after about 11am. I think cyber-criminals are trying to hijack my blog. So I am adding the identifying info and selfies, and seals of me Gloria Poole,RN, artist, who was born in state of Georgia, USA and who resides in Missouri since Oct 2009 who OWNS this blog and creates and all content on it.

Symbols of France to show solidarity with French people sketches and photo by me Gloria Poole Registered Nurse artist of Missouri

This is a fleur de lis which is one of the well known symbols of the French royalty and Presidential palace. I drew this in pastels yesterday as a way of showing the French people that not all people are bad people, and that I, as an emerging artist, draw symbols that have nothing to do with bad stuff or bad people. This is 8 x 11 in pastel pigment on paper I sized with glue. I made this, painted it , signed it, photographed it and uploaded it to this blog of mine. This is a sketch I drew and painted and signed of an actual castle in Normandy France, except that I was drawing from a photo, and I simplified the sketch quite a bit. France had a long era of castles and a Monarchy and still has castles and a riviera on the Atlantic Ocean coast of France. I have also posted this sketch on another blog of mine. I am assembling some images of France to remind all people that France is one of the world's most frequented tourist locations for many good reasons. I photographed this, uploaded it also posted it. In fact, I made , signed, photographed, uploaded and posted ALL art on this blog from the get-go. Copyrighted.

ALL art that I create is moral and decent and may be viewed by anyone of any age in any country. It is for general audiences. The name of the company that stole my signature in digital ink to post to their site as a way of trying to ruin me is pix-collection dot com, and they created a subdomain that had photos of people I have never seen before that they attached my name and professional status as RN, too. . I have notified the @FBI, @Google and banks and the public that I do not know the owners of pix-collection dot com as far as I know but I suspect my 2nd exhusband in Colorado has something to do with it since he has been trying to annihilate me from life and the web since 2005. I have NOT and do NOT authorize pix-collection dot com to use my name, nor my signature via any method, nor any file of mine, nor any photo or art work I ever made at any time in my life, nor do I authorize them to withdraw money from any account of mine, nor use my physical address, nor my telephone numbers, nor any account of mine anywhere. I alerted the FBI to ID theft of my name and content and also ICANN. Also, for the record, I am NOT on Facebook nor Pinterest and NEVER was, because they make their users their content and try to take copyrights, and sell their users' information, and track their users on the web. The cyber-criminals that tried to hijack my content via Facebook and Pinterest are common criminals that are identity thieves and they should be in prison.

Fourth notice of copyright infringement: a man who is unknown to me by the name of "Antwon Banks" broke into a Google account of mine and used my gmail with my real name of Gloria Poole, as his contact email for Facebook. I notified Facebook about that years ago, and recently I notified the FBI, Google and Microsoft and my internet service provider that "Antwon Banks" is an ID theif and cyber-criminal who is NOT authorized to use my name or anything of mine.

Also, for the record, none of the 6 profiles on LinkedIn with the name of "Gloria Poole" are mine or have anything whatsoever to do with me. I do not know if they are fake profiles or legitimate. I am simply stating for the record, that I am not on LinkedIn.

Blue flowers sketch painted yesterday by me Gloria Poole,RN,artist of /in Missouri

I am still trying to perfect some sort of method to paint flowers so they look realistic. This sketch I drew from referring to a small bread and butter plate I have, that is china that has similar flowers around the edge. The flowers on the plate are better. But I tried to draw them enlarging them to 9 x 12 size. I painted them with acrylic, then thought they didn't look right so I added in some deep indigo inktense at the stamen area, then decided it needed some sort of highlights so added in a pearly white watercolor as a sort of frosting on them. I think if I practice for a few more years, MAYBE I will get good enough to be considered "a Master artist". So, here's this sketch. I changed the background from the white porcelain plate to the green just because flowers usually are amongst green grass. Some artists of previous centuries painted flowers spectacularly well. And some contemporary artists do also. I am still trying to teach myself the right combination of techniques to paint anything I want to paint, and to design as I go, creating new original pieces of art. This is my sketchbook of the moment. I made it, signed it, photographed it at various stages, uploaded it and posted it as is my usual routine for posting art to my blogs. This is a cartoon I drew and painted this morning about 6am. I am making simple cartoons to put on my blogs this week so that all people know that I am the same [white, Christian, single-again] woman who wrote and illustrated the story "The Adventures of Lady Bugs that give picnics" that is online for the time being at https://cartooning-by-gloriapoole.blogspot.com. This cartoon of a French speaking bird and a hunting spaniel is just for fun. I drew it with graphite, re-drew the bird about 4 times, and painted it with watercolor, and signed it, photographed it, uploaded it and posted it to this blog of mine today. This is 9 x 12 inches on paper in my sketchbook of the moment. I made, signed, photographed, uploaded and posted ALL art on this blog. Copyrighted. This is the University of Georgia display I made to remind viewers [and UGA] that I am an alumna of the Terry College of Business of the University of Georgia in Athens Georgia. I am not a recent grad of UGA but I am posting this here now [and other blogs of mine also] because I had concussions and when I am fatigued it affects my neurons or something and I have trouble w/ words, fingers functioning , balance, vision.
