I photographed this of myself 2 days ago, when I was trying to learn how to put my own hair up in an "up-do" after watching youtube videos. I couldn't do that the way the youtube people did so I invented my own method. Then I decided to photograph it for my two daughters Jennifer and Leigh to see what they thought. I couldn't get my face in the photo if I got the up-do in it, because I was holding camera at arm's length and propped on something. I photographed me while sitting in front of the large oil painting I painted that is on the previous post of "angel that responds to prayer", which is obviously not intended to be a real human, but a supernatural being from heaven, and before the peacock I created with paint and decorative papers that is on other wall. That peacock is also posted on a blog of mine somewhere. I am posting this here today for more than one reason, mainly because cybercriminals tried to hijack this blog today and it took me from 6:30 am to 7:21am almost to upload this one photo I photographed with my own camera I bought with my own money on my own computer to my own account/blog. Because I am as determined or more so that criminal thugs are NOT stealing my accounts, my blogs or my art work, I decided to add my selfie for 2016 for the moment. Oh, and I have what is euphemistically labeled "high speed internet" on a dsl line [dedicated line] that is supposedly "secure" but isn't. This is Me--my selfie [Gloria Poole,RN, artist] in spring 2014 but I look the same except that I am thinner and my hair is longer but I still put it in lop-sided pony tail when I walk about or create art to prevent hair from blowing into my eyes or into paint.That is also me that you see in the "about me" box on right side of this blog and I am wearing a dark grey winter wool hat because that photo was taken of me in state of Georgia in Jan 2010 and my family in Georgia saw me wearing that hat and so did other people. So I am leaving that photo also on this blog for that reason.
